Are you looking to track eCommerce sales data for your WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, GiveWP, MemberPress, LifterLMS, or Restrict Content Pro store? Follow this guide to learn how to enable eCommerce tracking in your Google Analytics account.
Prerequisites:
- You’re an ExactMetrics Pro user or higher.
- ExactMetrics is installed and authenticated with Google Analytics.
- You have your WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, GiveWP, MemberPress, LifterLMS, or Restrict Content Pro plugin installed and activated.
Enhanced eCommerce is enabled by default in Google Analytics 4 properties. If you’re using a GA4 property, just activate the eCommerce addon and you’re all done!
To enable enhanced eCommerce in a Universal Analytics property, please continue following the steps as listed below.

Log into your Google Analytics at analytics.google.com and select the correct property (website) that you’d like to enable eCommerce tracking for:
Open the Admin page:
Within the View column, click Ecommerce Settings:
In the first step, for the option Enable Ecommerce, slide from off to on. Click Next Step.

The last step is to click on the Submit button
You did it! You enabled eCommerce tracking in Google Analytics.
